When you speak with Barry Breit (pronounced Brite) it is difficult to NOT be inspired to do more, both personally and professionally.
Barry has been one of the top-selling Brokers on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for over 23 years. He has been a Broker and Sales Manager for Carolina Designs Realty for the past 12.
Barry began his real estate career as an Associate with RE/MAX Ocean Realty Outer Banks, and in his 3rd year at RE/MAX, became a member of the Chairman’s Club. He was inducted into the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame in 2004 and was presented the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008. He left RE/MAX after 10 years to lead an elite company in a new, forward-thinking direction. “Carolina Designs is definitely the place for me and the fact that we are in the heart of Duck is the icing on the cake.” Barry and his family couldn’t be happier.
Barry believes in ‘Service Beyond the Sale’. He believes in constant personal contact and insists that customers always remain informed.

While Barry admits that his work schedule is nothing less than hectic most of the time, he still manages to balance his life through involvement in his community. In addition to his involvement in Children’s Miracle Network and Relay for Life, he has helped extensively with “Operation Christmas Child”, an international outreach program that delivers Christmas “Shoebox” Greetings to more than 8 million children worldwide. In 2007 Barry was voted the Dare County Parks and Rec. Volunteer of the Year for his work the children of the Outer Banks. He also serves as a member of the Adult Leadership Team of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a student led organization that allows students to share faith within their schools. “If we can impact just ONE life” says Barry, “then it is all worth it.”
